The GIP FIPAN (Groupement d’Intérêt Public pour la Formation et Insertion Professionnelles de l’Académie de Nice) is a GIP FCIP (Groupement d’Intérêt Public Formation Continue et Insertion Professionnelles) and is a legal entity under public law at the service of lifelong learning. Created in 2002, the GIP FIPAN is the management and development tool at the service of the policy of the rector of the Académie de Nice and has as its mission the development of a concerted cooperation at the level of the Académie in the field of continuing education for adults and professional integration. GIP FIPAN is the leader of the project and in charge of the administrative and financial management of the project in accordance with official ERASMUS + guidelines. The coordinator is supervising the most relevant procedures and supporting the project partners throughout this activity. In addition, all project partners gain extensive experience in the management and implementation of co-financed European projects and, therefore, a high level of expertise in the management of these projects. At the beginning of the project activities, Gip Fipan has carried out an analysis of the rules and consequent award of diplomas in their own country. The lead partner, Gip Fipan, will be responsible for creating the part relating to the training for trainers for the tutoring service and monitoring the methodology. They also contribute to the analysis of the laws that regulate the application of the VAE in Italy under PR1 as well as identify the scope of existing diplomas and the regulatory provisions concerning them, the practical methods of validation and the specific information to the validation of acquired experience under PR2. They are going also to identify 5 candidates for the experimentation for a total of 20 participants under VAE Testing.

SYNTHESIS is the main driving force in the efforts to develop the ecosystem of social SMEs in Cyprus (active in cultural, social and environmental fields), and was the first organisation in the country that has worked to promote the field of social entrepreneurship, organising in 2010 the first Conference on Social Entrepreneurship. Since then, it has organised and led numerous European Conferences, seminars, training workshops and events with the aim of raising public awareness of the field of social entrepreneurship and the potential of SMEs to impact positive social change, adhering to the principles of sustainability, inclusion and innovation. At the beginning of the project activities, Synthesis has also carried out an analysis of the rules and consequent award of diplomas in their own country and leading the PR1 – the Regulatory Analysis. Synthesis will be responsible for drafting a quality chart for the VAE project.
